Salvation Army thrift store Singapore

Wow to my pleasure I came to know that we have few thrift stores in Singapore.

I have never been to Amy thrift store , as we Di not have them in India. all thrifting that you could do in India is the road side shopping in Metropolitan cities like Mumbai and Delhi.

But to get a family thrift store at a place under one roof is the pleasure to life when you can get do much at one store at a discounted price .

I just looked into google for route map and took the bus to the store ad this one was just few minutes away from where I lived.

I definitely picked few stuff from the store the pictures below is for you guys to see the inside of the store condition.

I would never pick something like that for my future kids or for my home as it looks so scary ......to me...

those dolls looked really scary to me and knowing that those are old dolls , I wonder how many years they lived by now and how many houses they have moved so far.

Well the gowns are in store since years since I also came across a blog on Internet which us from Singapore and the lovely lady shared the similar pics if sane dresses few years ago .....

So that proofs clearly that these dresses or in particular these wedding gowns and the bridesmaid's dresses are lying down there in-store from years...

Being a biotechnologist & a microbiologist my brain also asks me how many microbial organisms have been living there by now ... Will they actually be cleaned by dry cleaning ? Or washing ...

Well why should u wonder more I would not be ever picking those anyways... And probably everyone thinks so that's why that have been in the store hanging for years.

The next bamboo red box was a good option for some Jewellery keeping , but I dropped the plan to pick it ad I thought the bamboo was rough enough to hurt my soft hands :)

The other pix shows my hand with the cherry flowers and a bag where I picked few tops from the store...

The best thing which I liked was only the flowers ... The story behind the stuff in my shopping bag and the later cleaning and using process will be up in next post ..,.

Store: Salvation Army Thrift store upper bukit Timah road Singapore .

Not to mention there were lot of eye candies in store that you definitely get tempted to pick ... But always pick stuff that you actually need when you shop. That will definitely save money and your wallet won't feel hurt much !! ;)

Enjoy the pics.....

What do you guess That I have in my shopping bag ?

I was making breakfast Indian Aaloo kachori  and while I got distracted by baby crying I put the kachori In Hot Oil in hurry and the Hot Oil just jumped out of the Frying Pan on my wrist ! I washed My wrist immediately with Running tap water , than took some Ice cubes from the refrigerator and gently rubbed on the Affected skin. But I had this burning sensation on my skin and I realized this is a major Burn accident . I was already sad to think that I will have this burn mark on my hand/wrist forever now, at least for many years. Burns marks fade slowly , I have previous burn experiences as well :- Once I touched the hot iron by mistake . Once In the Bangalore India Beauty Parlor the girl burned My Skin with Hot Wax. Another time I touched the Hot Pressure Cooker few months ago!! All those marks are still there on hand but they faded gradually by treating them with nat
